Michael P. Steffy
Founder, Managing Partner
Michael Steffy is the founder and managing partner of Colorado DevCo and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s day-to-day activities.
Michael was always driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, having started his career in the business consulting world. This entrepreneurial spirit would draw him towards real estate and he received his introduction to the new world through a position at Hartford Homes. Learning the basics of the industry through a role on the acquisition team, Michael found sellers repeatedly surprised by the diligence he exerted in acquisitions, and realized there was an opportunity to provide a competitive advantage to the development market.
The same traits Michael surprised sellers with at his former role are what he brings to every acquisition today – upfront, constant, and honest communication, in-depth research into the physical characteristics of the property, and a full understanding of the entitlement process and requirements of the governing municipality.
Our Goal
At Colorado DevCo, we strive to build strategic and long-term partnerships with our tenants through the acquisition of best-in-class properties. Our goal is to provide not just the property, but add value through in-depth information about the physical property, governing municipality and entitlement process, all under an umbrella of constant responsiveness and transparent communication.
